Feel what it’s like to drive a BMW :P

Cept add some Anime to it...

One of these is a performance bargain. The other is a toyota

Is the C8 even being sold outside of Trumpland?
~ the rest of the world.

If they wanted to sell a lot they would force their dealers to sell at MSRP.

oh god.... thats such a hard decision
german supra
or
murican midlife crisis
oh fuck... what do
![]() 08/03/2019 at 15:52 |

yup
its quite nice
![]() 08/03/2019 at 16:01 |

Oh well. Neither are coming to Australia.
The supra will do
well here just like the 86/BRZ did
![]() 08/03/2019 at 16:07 |

I’d watch an anime version of Das Boot so hard
![]() 08/03/2019 at 16:08 |

Pretty much, but with fewer settings!
![]() 08/03/2019 at 16:08 |

BMW, but yeah.
![]() 08/03/2019 at 16:10 |

Making it RWD.
Also, all of the U.S. cannot be considered Trumpland - far less than half, actually.

While he holds the keys it’s trumpland :) same as Brexitland will soon be Borisland.
I’d love to see the corvette exported to Australia. I have friends with C2’s and C3’s and they’re legitimately cool and unique here for not a huge price.
Definitely not the every mans super car though.

Can’t technically do that, but they can find ways to punish them in the future for markups.

I really want this now.

Oh shit hadn’t read that. If it gets the Holden badge it’ll just get rebadged like all the dudes who put the bow tie on Commodores
![]() 08/03/2019 at 16:33 |

They should make them Canada-only, where they can be required to charge MSRP only, free Canadian delivery, but include a letter saying they are legal for the
US
![]() 08/03/2019 at 16:33 |

The C8 will probably retain low cost of upkeep, unlike
the BMW Supra

There’s a guy near me who swapped the Chevy badges on his SS with Holden badges. People are weird.
![]() 08/03/2019 at 18:04 |

I think they should wear the badge of who makes ‘em.
SS - Holden
86 - Subaru
C8 - Corvette
Supra - BMW

Ugh... how long til the world gets off this crazy train?
![]() 08/03/2019 at 18:42 |

Same. However, I really liked how the bowtie made the SS look so mundane. The ultimate sleeper.
![]() 08/03/2019 at 20:25 |

For sure.
The Holden logo is great, though.
![]() 08/03/2019 at 20:27 |

RHD! Not RWD...
![]() 08/03/2019 at 20:35 |

That I kinda get cause they’re at least made in Holden factory.
Saw Opel badges on one once too but I think he was winding us up

I have Yamaha badges on my Toyota

If dealers were half way intelligent, they’ d se ll well at msrp to 5k over. Moving more units for less $ actually ends up pu tting 40% more $ into dlr pockets because the cars won’t sit a round for 45 to 80 days, whic h costs dealers a lot of $.
![]() 08/03/2019 at 21:47 |

I’m gonna slap some Harley badges on my Honda ;)
![]() 08/03/2019 at 22:49 |

Hopefully it’s just these launch edition cars that go for stupid money (when each dealer only has one), and prices quickly get in line as they start becoming readily available.
![]() 08/06/2019 at 14:52 |

It should be Boristan.
![]() 08/06/2019 at 14:53 |

You’re not fooling anyone.
No one will think you’re driving a piano!
![]() 08/06/2019 at 18:26 |

What if I told you the badge is there from factory?
![]() 08/07/2019 at 07:51 |
|
All badges come from factories, silly!
On a serious note, I’d be surprised.

Stock photo for reference (I’ve been a bit cheeky, the badge is in the engine bay)

Haha I had no clue about this!
